Terms of Use
1. Agreement to these Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Pepper, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Pepper.
2. About Pepper
Pepper is a personal-growth platform offering one-on-one coaching sessions, group courses (online and in person), events, self-study video courses, audio content, and an optional membership. Pepper provides educational and reflective content and coaching — it is not therapy, counselling, or a medical, legal, financial, or emergency service.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to create an account and make purchases. If you are under the required age, you may only use Pepper with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.
4. Your account
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and remain responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. You may delete your account at any time — see Delete Account.
5. Coaching, courses & events
- Booking. You may book 1-on-1 coaching sessions, courses, or events through the app. We confirm bookings and may send reminders before the scheduled time.
- Online or in person. Sessions and courses may take place online (e.g. via Zoom) or at a physical address shown when you book. For online sessions you are responsible for a suitable device and internet connection.
- Changes. We may reschedule or cancel a session, course, or event when necessary (for example, due to availability), and will notify you. You may also request to reschedule or cancel, subject to the cancellation terms communicated at booking.
- Conduct. Coaching and courses rely on mutual respect. We may decline or end a session in cases of abusive or unsafe behaviour.
6. Payments & pricing
- In-app purchases. Memberships and self-study video courses are sold as in-app purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices, billing periods, renewal, and cancellation are shown by the relevant store before you buy and are governed by that store’s terms.
- Course & session payments. Certain courses, events, and coaching sessions are paid through our integrated payment provider. The price is always displayed in the app before you confirm, and your booking is only finalised after payment is verified.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, through your store account settings.
- Prices may vary by country, platform, or over time. Taxes may apply depending on your location.
7. Refunds & cancellations
Refunds for store purchases (memberships and self-study courses) are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies. For courses, events, and coaching paid through the app, refund and cancellation conditions are those communicated to you at the time of booking. To request help, contact support@getmet.app.
8. Content & intellectual property
All content in Pepper — including videos, audio, courses, session materials, text, graphics, and the Pepper name and logo — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access purchased or free content for your own use. You may not copy, record, download (except where the app expressly allows), resell, publicly share, or redistribute any content, including coaching sessions, without our written permission.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Pepper, including: attempting to bypass payment or access controls; sharing your account or paid content with others; reverse-engineering or interfering with the app or its security; uploading unlawful or harmful content; or using Pepper in any way that infringes the rights of others or breaks applicable law.
10. Disclaimers
Pepper provides educational and reflective content and coaching for general personal growth. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and is not an emergency service. If you are in crisis or need urgent help, please contact a qualified professional or local emergency services. 11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pepper and CÔNG TY TNHH MET EDUCATION & TECHNOLOGY are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Changes & governing law
We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept the changes.
